Artist Amy Parker has been working with wood professionally for over six years. From cabinetmaking, to custom furniture, to knitting needles, woodworking has been a passion for her since childhood and now she is grateful to be able to bring her art to you.

Salvaging and Recycling of old wood, new wood or wood to be thrown out or burned is also a big part of Homeslice. We care about the environment and everything that we can do helps. From finishing with non-toxic materials to less wasteful packaging, it all makes a difference.

Our cutting boards are all finished with 100% mineral oil which is food safe and FDA approved. Also the needle caps and some needles are finished with a non-toxic Linseed oil, Tung oil, and or Danish oil. The less harsh material, the less harsh on our mother earth.
